My Weekday Morning Routine

Hey guys!

I’m so sorry I haven’t posted anything on here in a while. That’s because I was having a rough few weeks, but things look like they’re going to sort themselves out now, which I’m really happy about! During the two weeks I was away, I received a few emails from fellow bloggers just wanting to chat and that made me so happy! Thank you so much for the love guys, it means a lot.

Today’s post is going to be my new school day morning routine. I changed it around a bit, and I wanted to share it with you guys in case you were in need of one. So let’s go!

6:00- I’ve made a habit of waking up at this time! I normally wash my face and drink some water as soon as I’m up. Then I start practising some dance technique for half an hour, but you guys can choose to read or just chill!

6:30- At this time, I wrap up my dance session, and normally do some extra revision and any prep required for the day. After revision, I normally pack my bag for school.

7:00- This is when I go brush my teeth and have a shower.

7:30- I get dressed for school, and eat some breakfast. I normally also do my hair and put on some moisturiser. I usually don’t wear makeup to school, but if there’s a special event, then I will. If you guys want to see a makeup routine post, then comment!

7:50- I prepare to leave for school. If there’s some extra time, I normally also quiz myself with flashcards on Quizlet.

8:00- In the car, I normally just listen to music and chill! If required, I normaly get some extra revision done.

8:30- I arrive at school and prepare for upcoming lessons!

I hope you guys took away something with this post! Recently I was feeling really unmotivated about my morning routine, so I found that I searched for a lot of them, and created this one! Hopefully this gave you guys a routine you can adapt at least a part of.

Again, I’m really sorry for being inactive. It’s been a rough couple of weeks but it looks like a lot of things have started sorting themselves out so I’m going to be posting regularly again!

Did you guys like this morning routine post? What are your morning routines? I’ve missed talking and interacting with you guys so much so I’m super excited to be starting again! Comment below!

A short note before you leave: Remember that things aren’t always going to be perfect. There are going to be days when, instead of waking up at six, you wake up at 8. And instead of revising, you watch some TV. And that’s okay. It’s really important to love yourself and treat yourself with grace when things don’t go as planned. You got this, girl. Hang in there.

  1. I love the fact that you’ve even got a morning routine in the days of COVID. I had a morning routine of having to be at school (to teach junior high) at 7:30 or 7:00 if there were a faculty meeting. I did this for thirteen years, then modified it a tad when I moved down to elementary for seven years.
Now, I teach part-time at the university, and when face-to-face, my class starts at 1:00 p.m. and lasts for three hours, once a week.
Right now, I teach on line because I am the “target age” for the virus, and I am pretty much available 24/7. I have been telling myself I deserve a day off, and the students don’t need their graded work within 24 hours, but old habits die hard. LOL

  2. Keeping a routine is soo important, especially on days off whether it be from Covid lockdowns or days off school/work. I find without a routine I become so sluggish and lazy and tend to sleep in! Thanks for sharing your morning routine 🙂 xxx
